72 X 84 Shower Curtain

* If you can draw, you may not need the spotlight. If you are not artistically inclined, and do not already have a projector, see if you can borrow one. If you're using cloth instead of a shower curtain, you have to do standard size shower curtain, which is about 72 "x 72". Cut the fabric 73 "x 73", double on each side more than an inch and a half, press into place, and the hem on each side to make the edges smooth. Buy plastic rings (usually about curtain rods) and sew them to the top of the 72 x 84 shower curtain rings. If you do not have a second bar, pick up a tension rod. They are cheap and easy to install. The next step is to find a great image of Santa Claus. Search coloring books, story books, or online. Once you find a picture you like, pop it into the projector to Santa is seen in size. Hang the cloth or shower curtain on the wall or door with thumbtacks or pins, and project the image on it. Santa Claus's knees should be 6 inches from the bottom of the shower curtain. Stop at the knees and not make the rest of the legs (we'll see why). Then trace the image with a permanent black marker (put paper behind the 72 x 84 shower curtain to keep marker seep through). Fill in the details of the face of Santa Claus, and other intricate areas with the paint pens. Complete your outfit with paint. Almost any type of paint will do, but the paint is the least expensive craft. In order to create a three-dimensional, fiber fill or cotton balls widely used for hair and beard of Santa Claus. Apply with regular school glue or use fabric glue. Wear a Santa hat instead of truth in a painting. These can be found in some stores and discount stores for very little money. Simply point the hat on the rear 72 x 84 shower curtain or fabric glue stick. Add a piece of black felt for the belt of Santa Claus. A real buckle makes a nice touch. You can remove a belt buckle no longer use old thread and felt through it, or you can buy a belt used in a thrift store and simply remove the buckle to be used for this project. Stitch the felt or apply in place with fabric glue. Hang the curtain and put the bottom in the tub. Santa Claus's knees should be aligned closely with the edge of the tub. Here is the fun part: Double red towels in half lengthwise and sew or glue the sides together. If using fabric, cut the size of the common hand towels (no towels from fingertip) and proceed as above. Then arrange the towels so that the edges are attached in the middle instead of on the side then press into place with a hot iron. This seam should face the shower curtain that are not shown. Stitch or glue the towels to the knees of Santa Claus. Santa now has three dimensions legs swing when you move the curtain!. Gloves and boots do the remains of black felt. Attach the curtain mittens and boots for towels. Another good idea is to establish a pair of boots out of the tub and abdomen "legs" in the boots. This looks amazing and makes the three-dimensional effect. This idea is best used in the guest bathroom or business day is coming after everybody has a shower, if used in the master bathroom (otherwise, you have to keep moving the boots each time the bath required). To make your shower curtain even more festive, wrap small empty boxes to look like gifts that are attached to the curtain, or sew small plastic ornaments or candy canes. Just use your imagination. This is a fun, yet simple enough project to do, and you'll get many compliments on this unique idea, whimsical decor.
